In this subtopic, you will play the role of a journalist from one of the case study countries. You're going to write an article that makes a case for a change in your region's existing energy mix.

Record everything in this lesson in a copy of this document. 

You are going to write an article for a local newspaper. Look online for a suitable newspaper. The article will make a case for a change in your region's existing energy mix. Find out what your current energy mix is below.

You will conduct two interviews to inform your article, with a cynic and an advocate for particular energy sources. Write some interview questions that will help you identify:

• The reasons why your region has the energy mix that it does.

• The strengths of the energy sources used in your region. 

• The weaknesses of the energy sources used in your region. 

• What solutions exist to manage peak shaving.
